DivX is superior to AVI in all respects except one. To produce .divx files you need to fork over $20. I have it, so I use it. I'd rather fill a DVD with .divx files than .avi files any day.

To me they're all good, except maybe OGG files. I'm not saying those or good or bad really, but I just can't use them with what I got.
